ALEXIS

Hi, I’m Alexis. I work in employee communications, and I love the moment when something complicated finally clicks for someone. That is my sweet spot. Turning big strategies, messy information, and half formed ideas into clear stories people can actually use.

Storytelling is not just my job. It is how I move through the world.

When I travel, I do not just visit places. I chase the stories inside them. I will happily go down a Reddit rabbit hole to learn the local lore, track down the “you have to ask for it” menu item, or find the tiny museum no one talks about. I love experiencing people and places as they are, through conversations, cultures, food, and the everyday details that make a city feel alive.

That is also how I approach my work. Most of what I build lives where corporate plans meet real life. I create communication that respects people’s time, speaks like a human, and feels like it was made for the audience receiving it. I care a lot about culture, not as a buzzword, but as the everyday experience people have at work. The tone, the clarity, the trust, the follow through. That is the work.

Outside of that, my curiosity gets a little more offbeat, in the best way. I love paranormal stories, abandoned places, and anything even remotely Bigfoot adjacent. Give me a weird roadside sign, a ghost tour, a local legend, or a “my cousin swears this happened” story and I am in. I like the mystery, the humor, the history, and the humanity behind all of it. Even the strangest stories usually point back to something real. People. Place. Belief. Wonder. I’m always chasing the story, and I’m really good at bringing it back.
